Paralegal candidates must possess one or more of the following: (1) National Association of Legal Assistants specialty certification; (2) NFPA Certification; (3) NALS Certification; (4) Certification by The American Alliance of Paralegals; or (5) State Bar certification.

Legal assistant candidates must be certified as a Certified Legal Assistant or have over 5 years of experience in a specific legal field.
